The inspiration for Herd's new Fleetwood Cardigan fairisle is taken from the landscape of the Northern Uplands - a layered vista of hills and fells, drystone walls, ancient weather-worn trees and source springs trickling down through heather and rock.

Deliciously thick and soft, the Fleetwood Cardigan is made for wild wanderings, draughty studios, country weekends and the long moody days of winter. This cardigan has raglan shoulders, a slightly tailored cuff and ribbed hem and cuffs. 

The Fleetwood Cardigan is made from Herd's very own fully traceable, super soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool, sourced at a fair price from farmers in N.W. England and processed and make into yarn within 150 miles of the farms. Herd's yarn is the blended to make natural shades, or dyed using plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants. Their buttons are made from nuts and our labels are 100% cotton, so your knit is fully circular.

The Fleetwood Cardigan is true to size. Models wear a size Small.
